At Congregation Shearith Israel's Machaneh Shai, our students benefit from the best practices and leading-edge research in the field of Jewish education, making learning a rich, engaging educational experience for children from kindergarten through high school. It's a totally different kind of religious school, emphasizing experiential education, personal religious development, and whole family learning. Machaneh Shai provides fun, hands-on, and engaging ways to learn about Jewish traditions, prayers, Torah, Israel, and Jewish history. Registration for the 2013-2014 Machaneh Shai program is underway. Please register by Friday, June 14, as it will enable us to hire the appropriate number of educators for the 2013-2014 academic year. All member families must register by logging into the membership area of our website and following the directions. Other families who have not yet officially joined the synagogue, and who are interested in the Machanah Shai program for their child/ren can register by downloading a registration form on our website or by stopping in the office to pick up a form. All forms should be returned to Yvette Smith at ysmith@shearithisrael.com. Please note that all school registration for the 2013/2014 school term must be completed online and the required deposit paid at the time of registration.
