Times for Shabbat Services

Shabbat Children's Programs

All Shabbat services are under Rabbi Hillel Norry's direction, with lay congregants leading the services and reading the Torah.  These services  provide a meaningful way to fully experience the joy of the Sabbath.  Friday night services begin with Mincha, Maariv and Kabbalat Shabbat.  Our popular Shabbat at Shearith combines a traditional Friday night dinner with services and learning.  Saturday morning services include a full Torah reading and a memorable sermon, followed by a tasty kiddush.  Shabbat concludes on  Saturday evening with a light meal, Seudat Shelishit, and a beautiful Havdalah service with guitar-playing and singing.

Children are welcome in the sanctuary during services but also have the option of attending a special program appropriate for their age level.  We have Tot Services for ages 2-4, Primary Services and Junior Congregation.  Our littlest members can stay in a supervised babysitting room.
