Upcoming

Kiddush: The Kiddush Krew needs YOU! Thank you to everyone who has participated in making our weekly volunteer Shabbat kiddush a success. We are off to a great start, but we need your help to keep going. Please consider donating part of your Saturday morning to help us set up or clean up kiddush. Volunteers will receive "on-the-job training" and the camaraderie can't be beat. So pick up your phone, flip open your laptop, get out your calendar and contact Adina Rudisch at 404-394-1925 or sib_fan@yahoo.com.

College Outreach: Do you have a daughter or son in college? We'd like to do some outreach from CSI and perhaps send an occasional care package. Please contact Michele Marill at Marill@mindspring.com or 404-636-6021, with their name and address. If you are willing to volunteer a few hours to the cause, please let her know as well.

Sukkot: If you have never built a sukkah, now is the year to start! As part of our new Machaneh Shai education program, we're looking to help members build their very first sukkah. How can you help? Save branches from your yard trimmings to offer novice sukkah-builders for their roofs; offer your truck or mini-van to transport lumber, hardware and foliage to novice sukkah-builder's homes; or volunteer your tools and/or your time to help novice sukkah-builders. To sign-up to build your first sukkah or help with the process, please contact Rabbi Zelony at rabbizelony@shearithisrael.com.

Shelter: The Shearith Israel Shelter is seeking volunteers for the winter season to provide a meal for the shelter, or to stay overnight. The Shelter will open for the season this year on November 15. To get involved, please contact Shari Steinberg at Sxw2@cdc.gov or 404-876-4717.
