The Abraham Initiatives: A Conversation on Creating Shared Society in Israel

Monday, November 3, 2025 12 Cheshvan 5786

6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

On Monday, November 3rd, from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Amnon Be'eri-Sulitzeanu and Shahira Shalaby, Co-CEOs of The Abraham Initiatives, and Fay Twerskey, Board Chair of the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute, will take part in a discussion moderated by Jill Savitt, CEO of the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. This event is hosted by The Spring and will be held at The Temple. We are grateful for additional partners: American Jewish Committee (AJC), the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, The Temple, Congregation Shearith Israel, and the Emory University Center for Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation.

The Abraham Initiatives is an Israeli shared society organization that promotes equality between Israel's Jewish and Palestinian citizens. Through their theory of change, “Advocacy Through Action,” The Abraham Initiatives builds programs on the ground designed to strengthen Jewish-Arab relations and partner with the Israeli government, universities, healthcare institutions, and the private sector to scale them up and make real, structural change.

The Van Leer Jerusalem Institute cultivates innovative interdisciplinary research into publicly-significant questions, reflecting their commitment to a just, open society, well-integrated in the region.
