The festival of Sukkot begins on the evening of Sunday, September 23, 2018, with Yom Tov on Monday, September 24 and Tuesday, September 25. Shemini Atzeret begins on the evening of Sunday, September 30, through sundown on Monday, October 1, and Simchat Torah begins in the evening of Monday, October 1, through Tuesday, October 2.

Wednesday, September 26 

L'Chaim in the Sukkah (11:30am)

Rabbi Kaiman will join the L'Chaim group (age 55+) for a lunch and learn session. Bring your own dairy lunch and participate in this year's meaningful discussion and learning. RSVP here.

CSI NextGen Sangria & Scotch in the Sukkah (7:30pm)

Our new young adult group (20s - ~40s) will gather for an evening of drinks, appetizers and socializing in the Sukkah. Come meet and connect with fellow NextGen'ers, including singles and young couples alike, and help grow this exciting new community!

Thursday, September 27 - 7:30pm


CSI's Men's Club will host an evening of fellowship and socializing. On the menu: beer.

Friday, September 28

Shabbat in the Sukkah (5:45pm)

Join your Shearith family in the Sukkah for this monthls Shabbat in the Park event, featuring a Shabbat sing-a-long, a fun and family-friendly potluck dinner and socializing. Sign-up here to indicate which potluck dish or items you'll bring.

Friday Night Live (7:30pm)

The first Friday Night Live of the new year. Enjoy a spirited service and oneg reception, immediately following Shabbat in the Sukkah.

Sunday, September 30 

Special Sukkot (1pm)

An annual festive Sukkot meal for special needs adults and their caregivers. To RSVP, complete the form at this link or contact Arlene Koslow ( 

USY & Kadima Poké in the Sukkah (5pm)

Our middle and high school youth groups will come together for a meal of Hawaiian poke and learning in the Sukkah.

Shemini Atzeret & SimChat Torah

Sunday evening, September 30 - Tuesday night, October 2 (Yom Tov)

Yizkor Services will be held on Monday, October 1, at approximately 11:30am.
