CSI's Director of Education Ori Salzberg will lead an alternative outdoor service on both days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, from 10:30am - 12 pmThis is an abbreviated, song-filled, interactive, family-friendly service for all ages. Look for the tent at the corner of University Drive and Spring Valley Lane.

neighborhood shofar blasts & tashlich gatherings: tuesday, september 23rd

We are pleased to be offering outdoor gatherings in a few neighborhoods on the 1st day of Rosh Hashanah (Tuesday, September 23rd) to hear the shofar blasts and perform the Tashlich ritual:

  • Glenlake Park (Decatur) - 3:30 pm (Meet in the field beside the pavilion and playground; view map here.)
  • Peachtree Creek Greenway (Brookhaven) - 3:30 pm (Meet at the entrance on North Druid Hills Road; view address and map here.)
  • CSI Parking Lot - 6:30 pm (Be prepared for a short walk to a nearby stream; followed by Ma'ariv. Please note: This gathering will begin shortly after completion of the 6 pm afternoon Mincha service in the Sanctuary.)
