Join Shearith Israel
For new members, we offer two ways to join. We know how big a decision it is to join a synagogue! For this reason, both of the below programs are designed to let our new members give us a try before making a commitment:
- Tiered Membership Program: our building fund does apply, but dues are 50% year one followed by 75% of dues year two. In year three, regular dues apply.
- Machaneh Shai: if you have religious school-aged children from kindergarten through 4th grade, you can enroll in our Machaneh Shai program for up to two years before joining Shearith Israel.
Both programs are designed to let new members give us a try before making a full commitment!
