ALT Service

ALT SERVICE

                                                

ALT Service is a communal space led by Ori Salzberg with diverse spiritual contact points; educational, musical & meditative. We gather, talk, sing, reflect and discuss how Torah connects to our life. Scroll down for details and our 2025 - 2026 ALT Service schedule.

We rotate between 3 modalities:

M - Musical Tefila

Led with musical accompaniment, this Tefila is for all ages. We sing our way through the Tefila and engage in deep Torah discussion.

  • Zimrah - Opening Blessings & Songs
  • Shacharit - Morning Service Songs
  • Torah Discussion (and Oreos!)
  • Closing Tefilah Songs
 
Y - Youth Led Tefila
 
A great opportunity for the tweens & teens to lead their own service, including condensed musical opening, followed by many of the traditional tunes used in the sanctuary.

  • Condensed Shacharit - Morning Service Songs
  • Traditional Torah Service
  • Parsha Play!
  • Condensed Torah Reading
  • Full Musaf Service (Like Sanctuary)
  • Cereal Bar!
 
T - Triennial Service
 
A traditional Tefila, community members lead the Shacharit service. We read triennial Torah reading, a great opportunity to read 3 or 4 verses!
