Scientists in Synagogues: "The Theological Implications of AI" w/ David Zvi Kalman

As part of our Scientists in Synagogues programming for 2023-2024 year, David Zvi Kalman, an international leader in the exploration of ethics, will present a session entitled "The Theological Implications of AI". 

Dr. David Zvi Kalman is Scholar in Residence and Director of New Media at Shalom Hartman Institute of North America, where he was also a member of the inaugural cohort of North American David Hartman Center Fellows. He leads the Kogod Research Center’s research seminar on Judaism and the Natural World. Dr. Kalman holds a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from the University of Toronto. His research touches on Jewish law, the history of technology, technology and ethics, material culture, and Islamic jurisprudence.
