Equitable Dinners
Sunday, September 18, 2022 • 22 Elul 5782
12:30 PM - 2:30 PMCongregation Shearith Israel will join together with Out of Hand Theater, the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, the Fulton County Remembrance Coalition and many other community partners to mark the 116th anniversary of the 1906 Atlanta Race Massacre.
Across our community 5,000 people will gather at 500 tables to have vital conversations on how Atlanta’s history connects to systemic issues today – and inspire positive action for moving forward together. The meal will begin with a short play, followed by a facilitated conversation to learn and engage together.
There is no cost to attend this event. A dairy meal and beverages will be provided. However, if you are so moved, we would appreciate a donation to support more programming like this in our community.
To create space for true conversation there are limited seats available! Register today!
