Quieting the Silence: An Open Dialogue about Recovery, Mental Health and Substance Abuse
Thursday, September 19, 2024 • 16 Elul 5784
7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
In the Jewish community, the silence around addiction can be just as dangerous as the disease itself. Quieting The Silence is an event that creates a safe space for the community to come together as one to hear people’s personal stories and to raise awareness about the disease of addiction. Whether one is struggling personally, has a family member who suffers from the disease, or is simply interested in learning more and supporting others, this event offers an opportunity to listen, to feel, and to grow together. Join CSI and Jeff’s Place in an effort to quiet that silence, as 3 members of our community put their trust in us and share their stories.
