High Holidays 5782 - Shofar & Tashlich Gatherings

We are pleased to be offering outdoor gatherings in various neighborhoods on the 1st day of Rosh Hashanah (Tuesday, September 7) for the community to see one another, hear the shofar blasts and perform the Tashlich ritual. 

Communal Tashlich and a shofar service will take place at the following locations and times:
  • CSI Parking Lot - 7pm (Be prepared for a short walk to a nearby stream; followed by Ma'ariv)
  • Peachtree Creek (Brookhaven) Greenway - 5pm (Meet at the trailhead at 2036 North Druid Hills Road in Brookhaven)
  • Grant Park Gateway - 5pm (Meet at the green space at the top of the parking deck located at 759 Boulevard SE. Please note: Tashlich will not take place at this site; Shofar service only.) 
  • Herbert Taylor Park (Morningside) - 4pm (Meet at the park entrance sign on the corner of Pasadena Avenue and Beech Valley Road; view map here.)  
  • Glenlake Park (Decatur) - 2:30pm (Meet in the field beside the pavilion and playground; view map here.)
