Order a Lulav and Etrog Set

Sukkot begins on the evening of Sunday, September 23, 2018. You may welcome this beautiful holiday with your own Lulav and Etrog set. On each day of the festival (except Shabbat), we take the Four Species: an etrog (citron), a lulav (palm frond), three hadassim (myrtle twigs) and two arevot (willow twigs), recite a blessing over them, bring them together in our hand and wave them in six directions: right, left, forward, backward, up and down. The Midrash tells us that the Four Species represent the various types and personalities that comprise the community of Israel; whose intrinsic unity we emphasize on Sukkot.

Each Lulav & Etrog set is $50 and must be PRE-ORDERED and PAID for by Friday, September 7, 2018. You may pick up your order at Shearith Israel on Friday, September 21.
