Shearith Israel Sisterhood invites members of our community to share our collection of linens and decor for B’nai Mitzvah Kiddush luncheons held at Congregation Shearith Israel on Shabbat morning. This service is not available at this time for other celebrations or simchas off-site.

Share the Load (Linen Laundering Sign-up) 

Tablecloths can be rented from Cover Ups Linens or purchased by the family. Plastic tablecloths are not permitted as they are not compostable.

In addition to tablecloths, Shearith Israel Sisterhood has a variety of vases and other items available to create centerpieces. Many families choose to create Kiddush centerpieces out of non-perishable items that can be donated to an organization in need. This option allows for less waste and a greater commitment to helping those in need. 

All decorative items must be arranged on the tables between Wednesday at 9am and Friday at 1pm the week of the B’nai Mitzvah.
