The 38-minute film follows the story of Vilma Carrillo, one of many mothers separated from her daughter during the family separation crisis at the southern border in 2018.
Following the film we’ll learn more about the current plight of immigrants and asylum-seekers during a panel discussion featuring Shana Tabak, Tahirih Justice Center Atlanta’s Executive Director.
