B'nai Mitzvah Tefillin Challenge
In order to encourage the mitzvah of tefillin, Congregation Shearith Israel will provide a pair of tefillin without cost to CSI teenagers becoming B’nai Mitzvah who agree to participate in the Tefillin Challenge by:
-
attending a program of study to learn the significance and halacha of tefillin organized by CSI, and
-
laying tefillin in at least ten (10) daily shacharit minyanim at CSI during the year following being called to Torah as a Bar or Bat Mitzvah.
B’nai Mitzvah and teens interested in participating in the Tefillin Challenge should complete the form at the link below.
