Neighborhood Shofar & Tashlich Gatherings - 5782

We are pleased to be offering socially-distant gatherings in various neighborhoods on the 1st day of Rosh Hashanah (Tuesday, September 7) for the community to see one another, hear the shofar blasts and perform the Tashlich ritual. Register below

Shearith Israel Parking Lot - 7pm

Led by Rabbi Kaiman
 
Please note: Tashlich will occur at a nearby stream and will involve a short walk. Ma'ariv will take place at the stream following Tashlich. 
 

 

peachtree creek greenway (brookhaven) - 5pm

Led by Howie Slomka
 
Meet at the Trailhead at the address above.
 

 

Grant Park gateway - 5pm

 
Meeting Location: Meet at the green space at the top of the parking deck located at the address above. Please note: This is a shofar service only. Tashlich will not take place at this site.
 

 

Herbert Taylor Park (morningside) - 4pm

Led by Randy Gorod
 
Meeting Location: Meet near the address above, at the corner of Beech Valley Road and Pasadena Avenue, beside the Herbert Taylor Park entrance sign, and walk down the path to the bridge.
 

 

Glenlake Park (Decatur) - 2:30pm

Led by Vivi Siegel and Raquel Lieberman
 
Meeting Location: In the field near the pavilion next to the park's playground.
