Purim 5781
Purim 5781
This year, we are challenged to create the environment for Purim 5781 to emerge as a season of fun, and a season of celebrating human miracles. After such a difficult year, we all need to let go and have fun. This holiday, more than any other, is about a raucous joy. Purim is about letting go of the masks of propriety and revealing our silliness. As you may have guessed, CSI has a plan! Get ready to lighten and brighten this heavy season with yet another unprecedented communal experience and the refreshing playfulness of Purim at CSI.

Mishloach manot
This year, we are fulfilling the practice of offering one another gifts, or Mishloach Manot, for the Purim holiday, by distributing special gift baskets modeled after our High Holiday packages! Thanks to the large corps of volunteers who are bringing these items to members' homes around Atlanta. Enjoy!
share a smile... 18 acts in 18 days
Purim is a time to tell the story of Esther and send food and gifts to friends. It is also a time to be generous— and give to those in need.
With that mitzvah in mind, this Purim Shearith Israel is organizing a community-wide campaign “Share A Smile... 18 Acts in 18 days!” Thank you to all who have performed and logged acts of kindness this month! The campaign concludes on Purim, so be sure to check out the full list of suggested ways to spread kindness and add your voice and name to the effort via our Share A Smile tracker form below.
For every act of kindness you log, an anonymous donor will give $1 to further our Ahavat Chinam initiatives!
share a smile yard signs
We are delighted to extend our "Share A Smile" campaign with YARD SIGNS, a fun reminder to engage in small daily acts of kindness while hopefully inspiring our neighbors to do the same. Because we wanted to make signs available (via a tiny QR code) for anyone in the greater community to purchase, they do not feature the CSI logo. The signs are $18 each with 100% of the proceeds benefiting CSI’s Ahavat Chinam programming. Get one for yourself and another for a friend or neighbor so you really can "Share A Smile"!
purim in the parking lot: sunday, february 28 @ 3pm
Don't miss our fun-filled, COVID-safe Purim experience for children and families alike featuring music, a costume contest and family games. Masks are required for all and no food will be served. Admission is limited due to social distancing protocols.
