Join the Atlanta Jewish community as we gather for a special Tikkun Leil Shavuot, a virtual night of learning to recreate receiving Torah at Mt. Sinai in celebration and observance of Shavuot. The program will feature Rabbi Kaiman alongside an esteemed slate of teachers: 2018 James Beard Award Winner Michael Twitty, Rabbi Bradley Shavit Artson (American Jewish University), Rabbi Judith Hauptman (Jewish Theological Seminary), Rabbi Josh Warshawsky, CSI's Dr. Paul Root Wolpe (Emory University) and members of the Atlanta Rabbinical Association.

A Family Shavuot Celebration: meet me at mount sinai thursday, may 28 @ 4pm
Families are invited to a special learning event to celebrate Shavuot, the holiday on which we commemorate receiving the Torah at Mount Sinai, with Rabbi Cara Weinstein Rosenthal, USCJ's Family Engagement Specialist. Designed for families with children grades K-5, this 40-minute interactive experience will include:

Life Yeshiva (Teen Class) with Ms. joey heyman:

Don't miss the first learning session of Life Yeshiva, a new series of classes for teens. The class is open to all 10th graders in the community. Life Yeshiva will explore such essential questions as: What value do ancient texts hold in my modern life? Why is it so difficult for some individuals/groups to communicate on hot-button topics? Why is it important to maintain open channels of communication with people with whom I disagree? What are topics/subjects that I am passionate about pursuing independently?
